Hubungan Antara Kelincahan dan Kekuatan Otot Lengan Terhadap Keterampilan Dribble Pada Atlet Hockey Putra Kabupaten Sintang
Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between agility and arm muscle strength on dribble skills in male hockey athletes in Sintang District. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Data collection techniques in this study used tests and measurements. The population of this study were male hockey athletes in Sintang Regency, totaling 12 athletes. The research data was taken by agility tests, arm muscle strength tests and dribble tests. The data analysis method in this study uses product moment correlation analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant relationship 0.448 < 0.576 between agility and dribble skills in male hockey athletes in Sintang District. There is no significant relationship 0.300 < 0.576 and arm muscle strength to dribble skills in Sintang District Boys' hockey athletes, and there is no significant relationship 0.083 < 0.576 between agility and arm muscle strength to dribble skills in Sintang District Men's hockey athletes. From these data there is 5%. The coefficient of determination (R²) of agility and arm muscle strength on dribble skills in Sintang district men's hockey athletes is 0.425 or 5%, meaning that agility and arm muscle strength have no relationship to dribble skills in Sintang district men's hockey athletes.
